Details of our choir’s visit to Yorkshire, UK April 2022 Our French Choir (Musical Director Patrick Hilliard (EN/FR) ) will perform on their own with Organist Christopher Hainsworth (NZ/FR) at The Church of St Michaels (Malton, Yorkshire) on Friday 22nd April 18.30 and then at the Church of St John The Baptist in Buxton (Derbyshire) on Sunday 24th 19.00.

The French are coming…
Following a highly successful tour de France in the Summer of 2018, for members of the Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus, the north of England will be repaid by two performances of the French Choir they sang with, with two solo concerts (Malton and Buxton) as well as a joint concert with the Sheffield Philharmonic Chorus, members of the Philharmonischer Chor Bochum, and the world-famous Black Dyke Band, of Saturday 23rd April 7pm – Sheffield City Hall, for Handel’s Messiah
Members of the French choir are driving to Sheffield “so they can enjoy some sight-seeing whilst they are here” explained Matthew, “And for the solo French Concerts we’re looking forward to bringing a mostly French programme, including choral and organ works by Faure, Gounod, Charpentier, Couperin and Dubois, to Malton in Yorkshire and Buxton in Derbyshire”
